Funded places available for BME and/or male teachers - Leadership Programme starting January 2018

Third year running, this successful course, developed in partnership with the Birmingham Nursery Schools Teaching Schools Alliance, offers a fantastic opportunity to ambitious nursery or primary school teachers who want to take on greater responsibility or move into a leadership position within their setting.
 
The DfE is once again providing full funding to support 10 BME (Black Minority Ethnic) and/or male teachers to complete the course, in order to develop and diversity the leadership profile across the sector.
 
Teachers who do not meet the funding criteria may still join the course for a fee of £950, which includes academic accreditation (60 PG credits).
 
Leadership of practice excellence is central to the focus of the course, with strong additional emphasis placed on developing participants’ confidence and enhancing their personal capacity and capability to become the next generation of leaders.
